An explanation about how we decide to cancel training

We're cancelling tonight's training. When we check the weather report and decide to cancel we do it with everyone's welfare in mind. If we go ahead with training on a day like today when there is a 70% chance of thunderstorms or just rain and suddenly it starts to pour, we don't have anywhere to protect the 20 to 30 players in our care because the shed is the only place besides our cars that we can use. In many cases the players also don't know their parents cell phone numbers and it can become a pretty big problem. Sometimes it just doesn't rain and it looks like I made a bad decision. I do the best I can.

Please make sure that your son or daughter has your cell phone number in their soccer bag just in case.
